is a short trailer which advertises either an upcoming film, TV program or video game. They are successfully and most commonly used in advertising and they aim to tease the audience by releasing the teaser long in advance before the product actually comes out.
Unlike typical theatrical trailers, teasers are very short from about one minute - one and a half. Teaser trailers will not contain much footage of the film and will leave the audience confused and wanting to know more. Their purpose may not necessarily be to tell the audience when the movie will be released but it will tell them about the movie's content. This adds a sense of excitement and hype to the upcoming film release.
Theatrical Trailer ...
A theatrical trailer is a preview of a particular film that will be released and shown in the cinema in the near future. The trailer will contain series of shots from the film but may not appear in order in which they appear in the film.
A theatrical trailer will normally last about two and a half minutes.
